Meal Planning 2013 - Week 3

After getting off to a good start by staying the same weight over Christmas and losing a pound in the first week of January, I had a bad week last week and put on weight. I don't know if it's that I fell off the wagon, or that I had to go to Slimming World on Thursday evening instead of my usual Saturday morning, and everyone says you weight more in the evenings if you are used to weighing yourself in the mornings - or a combination of both. Either way I need to do better this week to get that weight off again.

Monday
Breakfast Cereal
Lunch Jacket potato with cottage cheese
Dinner I'm thinking of joining a choir and going along to their first rehearsal tonight - which is straight from work so I'll need to take a packed dinner or something I can eat at my desk. I don't know if I will want to eat before or after the rehearsal so I will take a packet of Mattesons Fridge Raiders chicken pieces (2.5 syns), a pasta Mug Shot (syn free); I don't like fruit unless it's peeled so that't not much good for eating on the go. Right now I can't think of anything else I have in the fridge or freezer that I can take with me so I hope that's enough...

Tuesday
Breakfast Cereal
Lunch Jacket potato with tuna
Dinner spaghetti bolognese with my boyfriend

Wednesday
Breakfast Cereal
Lunch Leftover spaghetti bolognese
Dinner Oriental salmon in foil from SW 100 Extra Easy days p33

Thursday
Breakfast Cereal
Lunch Butternut squash risotto
Dinner Out with my boyfriend? TBA

Friday
Breakfast Cereal
Lunch Rest of butternut squash risotto
Dinner honey mustard glazed duck from this recipe

Saturday
Breakfast Cereal
Lunch crab noodles from SW 100 Extra Easy days p36
Dinner Beef canneloni with tomato and mascarpone sauce (with broccoli for me and garlic bread for my boyfriend) - ready made as I'm getting an online grocery delivery today which I only do once every few months, so it's a chance to get a few different things I can't normally buy, and my boyfriend really likes this.

Sunday
Brunch Pancakes
Dinner Sausage traybake with roast sweet potato, red onion and butternut squash
